Emotionally Intelligent Collaboration: when things get tense
Feedback that never gets given. A conversation that suddenly hardens. In this programme, teams practise recognising emotions, taking another perspective and communicating clearly under pressure.
- For teams and professionals
- Practise with recognisable situations
- In development: format and price to follow
Do you recognise this in your team?
This programme is for teams and professionals who want to keep communicating clearly under pressure and recognise patterns in their collaboration earlier.
- Avoiding feedback
- Conversations that harden quickly
- Conflicts that keep simmering
- Defensive reactions
- Unclarity about what psychological safety asks in practice
What happens between people
The central theme is communicating and collaborating when things get tense.
- Recognising and regulating emotions
- Taking another perspective
- Empathy
- Communicating under pressure
- Giving and receiving feedback
- Working with conflict
- Conducting difficult conversations
- Contributing to social and psychological safety
From work question to practice
Brief explanation alternates with cases, perspective shifts, conversation skills and reflection on recurring patterns in the collaboration.
Explore your question
Which recurring work situation would you like to explore? An introductory conversation helps clarify what is happening.
Shape the approach together
We discuss what participants can practise and which conditions the organisation itself needs to address.
Practise in context
Explanation, self-inquiry and exercises are connected to real work situations.
Which conversation isn’t working well enough?
And what should participants be able to do differently afterwards? That question is where the conversation with an organisation begins. A training won’t suddenly turn your organisation into a safe place. It does make participants more skilful in their own contribution.
What’s fixed and what isn’t yet
Format, duration, group size, location and price have not been fixed. An introductory session, a workshop, a one-day training or a longer programme are all possible. Self-Leadership will be shaped first.
Training is not psychological treatment. Nor does it solve structural problems such as an unrealistic workload, unsafe leadership or a poorly organised workplace. Those remain the responsibility of the client organisation.
