Self-Leadership: understand, direct and develop yourself
You know what matters. Still, the urgency of the day often takes over. In this programme, participants practise directing their attention, choices and behaviour more deliberately, also when pressure rises.
- For professionals and teams
- Practise with your own work situations
- In development: format and price to follow
Do you recognise this at work?
Self-Leadership is for professionals and teams who want to direct their actions more deliberately. Especially when automatic patterns, doubt, boundaries or fragmented attention get in the way.
- Putting decisions off
- Being driven by urgency
- Struggling with boundaries
- Getting stuck in self-criticism
- Knowing what matters, but not acting on it
Building blocks for deliberate control
The central theme is deliberate control over your attention, your choices and your behaviour. These are building blocks, not fixed modules. Which ones you practise depends on the work question.
- Self-awareness
- Values and direction
- Working with thoughts
- Emotion regulation
- Confidence
- Setting boundaries
- Behaviour change
- Attention and mindfulness
- Ownership
From work question to practice
A coherent learning path combines explanation, self-examination, concrete exercises, reflection on work situations and small behavioural experiments. Knowing what is wise doesn’t mean you act on it when pressure rises. That’s why participants practise with their own situations.
Explore your question
Which recurring work situation would you like to explore? An introductory conversation helps clarify what is happening.
Shape the approach together
We discuss what participants can practise and which conditions the organisation itself needs to address.
Practise in context
Explanation, self-inquiry and exercises are connected to real work situations.
Which work situation calls for more deliberate control?
That question is where the conversation with an organisation begins. Not every problem is a training question. Sometimes the answer is fewer meetings. So we also look at which conditions the organisation needs to address itself.
What’s fixed and what isn’t yet
Self-Leadership is the core programme and will be shaped first. Format, duration, group size, location and price have not been fixed. An introductory session, a workshop, a one-day training or a longer programme are all possible. I’ll choose the first format and duration together with the first organisation that wants to work with it.
Training is not psychological treatment. Nor does it solve structural problems such as an unrealistic workload, unsafe leadership or a poorly organised workplace. Those remain the responsibility of the client organisation.
