Meditation · Programme 02

Make it a habit in 6 weeks

Find a manageable routine and keep practising in everyday life. A week that doesn’t work out? Beginning again is part of the practice.

  • Six weeks
  • A short daily practice
  • In development: price and date to follow
Who it is for

Who this programme is for

You want to make meditation a habit. Maybe you’ve tried before and it slipped into the background after a few weeks. You’d like guidance in finding and keeping your own routine.

What you explore

Making space to practise

You make space for regular practice. You explore what helps, and how to begin again when your practice slips into the background.

The aim is a manageable habit you can continue afterwards, not a perfect streak.

Format

The initial outline for the six weeks

01

Starting and a realistic routine

Posture, intention and a short daily practice.

02

Attention to body and breath

Choosing an anchor and learning to notice when attention wanders.

03

Working with thoughts

Noticing thoughts without having to stop them.

04

Room for feelings

Exploring bodily and emotional experience within safe limits.

05

Meditation in daily life

Bringing awareness into ordinary moments and actions.

06

Continuing independently

Looking back, recognising obstacles and choosing a suitable practice of your own.

This is an initial outline, not a fixed programme.

Guidance

Who guides you

I’m Jasper. I have meditated daily since 2015 and deepened my practice during three retreats of three months each, in Asia and Europe.

Personal practice is the foundation and the guidance is secular and clear. I don’t use titles I don’t have. More about me.

Practical

What’s still open

This programme is in development. The format, price and start date have not been set, and neither has the choice between a group or one-to-one, online or in person. Sharing your interest is not an enrolment. It does help to choose a format that fits the people who want to take part.

Meditation guidance is not therapy. If you’re looking for help with psychological difficulties, have a look at Therapy.
